Partly Successfully installed Sequoia went back to Sonoma

I succesfully installed Sonoma. On an iMac 27 inch late 2013z With latest Garageband and Logic Pro. It worked great.

Then updated to Sequoia by first updating OpenCore. Then download the update to Sequoia via the App Store. Installer Sequoia. But Garageband and Logic Pro did not work anymore. Quit unexpectedly when starting up. I could start up when not opening a project automatically. But it did not show things right in the UI. And opening an existing project crashed the software.

So now I am reinstalling Sonoma with Garageband and Logic Pro.

Anyone elsw had this issue? Or should I have done a fresh install of Sequoia instead of doing an App Store update?
