My 2010 Toshiba satellite laptop can run Big Sur perfectly on an i5-2410M 2.30ghz Intel HD 3000 and 6 GB DDR3
However A laptop made within the past five years (2022-2023? Acer nitro 5) with a 12th Gen i5-12500H and a 3050 (which can’t run any version of macOS bc Apple) and 24GB DDR4
I’ve gotten Mac OS X tiger on a 2004 dell dimension 2400 with a Pentium 4 3.06Ghz HT and a GeForce 6200 and 1GB DDR
NOTE: I am not hating on anyone or anything I’m just interested as to why this is (my feeling is because Apple is ditching Intel)
