Was trying to set a password for the OC boot menu. Was using the opencorepkg 1.0.1, which was not typing or showing that I was typing until I pressed a bunch of letters. Downloaded the 0.6.7 version and seems the problem is not present and the file runs as expected.
For those that are not aware, the ocpasswordgen, apparently generates a SHA-512 hash and salt for the password that is entered.
The problem, may not be a problem at all. Maybe the text is not showing when typed on 1.0.1, due to an update to provide security for the password being entered? But still one can not see that the password was typed correctly and if the hash is copied over after someone thinks the ocpasswordgen had recorded the password and put out a hash, and in fact the hash is something completely different. Maybe this could lead to user(s) being locked out of their devices?
I was trying to submit a pull request, but seems was unable to and due to that am posting here.
