Hey Everyone!
I have a working macOS hack for my dell g15 gaming laptop.
The specs for the laptop are as follows:
Item | Model | Status |
---|---|---|
CPU | Ryzen 7 5800H | Workng, with all CPU temp stats. |
GPU | Radeon integrated GPU | 512 MB dedicated VRAM, working with NootedRed Kext. |
GPU#2 | Nvidia | Disabled using a custom SSDT patch |
RAM | 16 GB DDR4 | Working fine in macOS. |
SSD#1 | SK Hynix | Disabled using a custom SSDT patch, as the SK Hynix SSD controller is not supported, leading to kernel panics during boot. |
SSD#2 | Crucial | macOS Bootdisk |
WiFi & Bluetooth | Intel AX1650X | Working fine with AirportItlwm.kext |
Keyboard | PS2 (Built in) | All functions detected in macOs and working great with VoodooPS2Controller.kext |
Speakers | Built In | Working perfectly. |
Camera, Microphone, Display Brightness, and other misc. | Built In | Working perfectly. |
Trackpad | Built In, device ID: I2CD/TP | Detected as a mouse, not able to use as a trackpad. |
I looked through various forums, some of which suggest using -v12c-force-polling as a bootarg. I have tried using the VoodooI2C kext with the VoodooI2CHID.kext enabled, but the trackpad still is detected as a mouse. I have removed and enabled the polling bootarg. It doesn't affect the outcome.
I need help with fixing this issue. Thanks in advance.
