So for about a week I had trouble getting Apple Music working on my Hackbook. Everything worked like a charm however, from Airdrop, iServices, and even down to Ableton Live Suite. The ONLY problem I had was with DRM related issues. Apple Music wouldn't play any songs (except a random few), I couldn't play anything in Apple TV... it was annoying. Then I found on a Reddit post that someone had success with getting past these DRM issues with the iMac Pro 1,1 SMBIOS. Apparently they were on a laptop as well. I decided to try it and sure enough it works now. But now I am having other issues. One, very obviously, is the give and take relationship with Apple Music and the way my device is being recognized. Forgive me for being picky but I kinda want that all out feel of a MacBook Pro. If there's a fix for that that would be cool. My other issues which I am currently trying to workout is my audio. Now sound won't play through my internal speakers, whereas before they used to. I can only hear sound through my headphones connected. Wifi which used to work flawlessly now won't connect immediately but throw a fit and force me to disconnect, reconnect, renew the DHCP license, and repeat, till it finally decides to stop annoying. However, Bluetooth which used to be that exact way before (so maybe not everything was flawless before) now connects in a heartbeat. I can turn on my Studio Pros and IN A SECOND that little headphones logo in the upper menu appears. Music Videos and Apple TV still don't work. If someone has any pointers as to what worked for them in that regard that would be great. If any. Oh, and trackpad and function keys (which didn't work with a MacBook Pro SMBIOS) still don't work. If someone could also help me there that too would be great. As far as I know these things seem fixable. I've ALMOST got the perfectly working HackBook.
