macOS boots to grey screen with cursor... then restarts.

Just got ethernet working, and macOS sonoma installed. However, whenever I select macOS in the picker, and apple logo pops up, and loads into a completely grey screen with the cursor working, but then my PC restarts just a few seconds later.
