I tried updating From Sonoma to Seqouia and i used a external HDD. My system seems to be corrupted as when I tap MacOS installer it does the 🚫 sign. I turned the computer off and tried to lock in to sonoma again, which worked until after the login screen which then went straight to prohibited symbol again. Luckily for this reason I have a copy of Montorey (last supported) on for emergency’s. However it doesn’t let me install it as it doesn’t let me downgrade. What should I do? Internet recovery or go to Apple?
