Late 2015 iMac 17,1 failed upgrade on last step

I have a Late 2015 iMac 17,1 that had been upgraded to Sonoma 14.6.1 without any issues. I downloaded OpenCore Legacy Patcher 2.0.1 then began the Sequioia upgrade process. Everything proceeded without incident until the last reboot. It displayed the apple logo and the progress bar but it never got past ~20%. I tried to reboot into Safe Mode and it won't. It displays the recovery URL and downloads the s/w to put me in recovery mode.

I have two disks in this iMac. A 512GB SSD running the last supported version for this machine (Monterey I believe) and a 4GB SSD that was patched and running Sonoma 14.6.1. It used to have a Fusion Drive and I replaced the HDD with the SSD. Given my only option was to use first aid on the disks, I did so and it showed an error on the 4GB SSD.

I really don't want to do a clean install of Monterey and restore everything. Given I can't boot into Safe Mode and reinstall the patches, is there a way I can do it from the other drive?
