I have a hackintosh running Monterey on my Hewlett-Packard G1 elite desk usdt it has been working for at least a year. I got a new desk so I disassembled it and put it back together on the new desk and now I can’t get any audio from it. I was using the line out on the back, running it to my HDTV through the RGb input and a separate audio input and it worked fine. The computer does not support vga, so I got a wire that had VGA on one side and HDMI on the other. The computer does not have HDMI output so I had to use an adapter changing it to display port. so I need a separate line to go from the line out into audio in on my TV. Everything worked great until I disassembled it and put it back together now I get no sound coming out of the audio line or the headphone jack. I tried combination headphone microphone jack nothing is putting out any sound at all sound preferences it lists my TV as the only available option when I used to have an option for headphones and I believe external speakers for some reason, I only have one option does anyone know how to get sound to come out of either the line out or the headphone jack? I will attach pictures of the information. I think you may need if you need anything else just let me know. I am relatively new to hackintosh I figured it out a year ago and I’ve just been using the computer ever since I haven’t been doing anything else so I’m out of practice. I just need to find out how to get the line out and headphone options back into my sound preferences. Thanks for your time it is much appreciated I am literally going crazy right now! I actually use this as the TV and I have two very angry children staring at me! Lol. [link] [comments] |
