My onboard audio supports ALC892 codec. I followed Dortania's guide, and it pretty much worked the way it should have, except I didn't get audio. I installed IORegistryExplorer, and searched for HDEF, and found nothing. My system apparently doesn't have no hdef record so I really think that's the problem.
Also when I check with terminal for " kextstat | grep -i AppleHDA " there's no results.
Can someone please help me out with this?
