 | It’s my first time trying Hackintosh, and I could use a bit of help😅 I’m trying to install MacOS Sonoma 14.5 on my Dell Precision 5530 laptop, but after a few seconds it just stops first image for around 60 seconds and then it seems like new lines of codes coming in from the top of the screen, but its just glitched letters/symbols with the prohibitory symbol in the middlesecond image. I think I have mapped the USB ports (I’m not quite sure I did it right), and I’ve tried turning the xhciportlimit thing true and false in the config but I get the same result every time. Laptop specs: CPU: I9-8950hk CoffeeLake GPU: UHD630 + nvidia quadro p2000(not planning to use the nvidia) SSD: 500gb NVMe Trackpad I2C HID Device Keyboard probably PS2, I’m like 95% sure Thanks for anyone reading this and trying to help, I would really appreciate any suggestions, any more info you need I can provide, I wasn’t sure what to include [link] [comments] |
