I have already a tried fresh install of Sequoia with OCLP 2.0.1 from USB flash drive multiple times but to no avail. I can start the install for Sequoia but about halfway through it reboots and then I see “support.apple.com/mac/startup” error screen, with no way to boot. So as per this photo, I used system recovery to install the most recent version of macOS for this hardware. Then I installed OCLP and installed OpenCore to the EFI. Holding option I booted with EFI Boot > Monterey and now I see the ability to upgrade to Sequoia in Software Update. Any idea if this will work? Or should I try something else if I run into any problems? [link] [comments] |
