A question from a student

So I have been reviewing the idea of hackintoshing my i3 6100u Skylake 8gb ram HDD desktop for a decent while now but I have a few questions first.

1. As a Student who only has 1 machine (but i will get something better in the future) is it a good idea to try and hackintosh my computer
2. If so which version would be the best for me
3. What are drawbacks I should expect from moving to Macos (the main reason i am considering is because it looks better and more simple for productivity purposes)
