This may not be too much releated with hackintosh but it is with macOS, so, I got an HP EliteBook 830 G7 laptop that was working smoothly couple months ago. Few weeks ago on a normal day I just opened the lid and I was booting Windows and I noticed my screen was f*cked. Half of the screen was so dark and just a little part of it was as brighter as normal. Honestly I was disappointed and my first thought was some object entered between the screen and the keyboard and probably since my lap is most of time on my schoolbag probably with the movement punished it and damaged the screen. Then more lately I booted into macOS to check if the same problem was present and yeah it was. However, I did a quick up and down of the brightness on the control center and the problem was 98% gone! I was like wtf, I really thought some of the LCDs on the panel was dead but it looks is something releated of the LEDs are not being supplied with energy correctly. This problem is persistent on the UEFI Menu (BIOS) and on Windows if I disable dynamic brightness partially the brightness came back but not as macOS or as it was before. Thoughts? Here's how it looks: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yhe0AWRgQ157YspnPjFiC_kAhbE_mk_3/view?usp=drivesdk [link] [comments] |
