just for experiment, I installed linux mint on an internal ssd, and it works just fine without fans spinning crazy fast these several days. but any unsupported macos (starting with dosdude1's patch, long before OCLP) makes me feel as if my laptop is a helicopter taking off - even with just couple of tabs open in safari. could it be because of the way oclp handles some unsupported system calls? (at those times I don't see any excessive load in the activity monitor - it looks just normal)
or am I alone with this heating problem?
