Things to do before starting: Turn off BitLocker Cancel any passcode to unlock the device Turn off secure boot in the BIOS 1- Update the BIOS version to the latest version available on the aucn62ww website https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds541233-bios-update-for-windows-10-64-bit-yoga-c940-14iil 2- Now download the compressed file that contains the files we will need: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b-kReTm6aHaGBfRUJHD70fnzAff1cFSo/view?usp=sharing 3- Bring a USB flash and format the flash using Rufus in (FAT) format as shown in the picture. 4- Now unzip the file and you will find 1 and 2 , Go to 1 and copy the Veyron file to the USB flash drive. 5- Now insert the flash drive into the laptop and turn it off. 6- unplug pc from power, hold fn+R, plug power in, press power, then continue to hold FN+R for an additional 5-10 seconds then move your fingers away, The bios is flashed and pc works again, It takes 5-10 minutes so be patient. 7- After the laptop starts up in Windows, turn it off and enter the BIOS and enable bios rollback downgrade , save and exit. 8- Now turn on the laptop and go to Rufus and format the flash drive in FAT32 format, then go to file 2 and copy everything inside it and paste it into the flash drive. 9-restart the laptop and go to boot menu FN-F12. 10- chose the flash and press enter 11-Press ESC to skip startup.nsh. (You only have about three seconds.) 12-Input 13-Input 14- Now wait for the processing to complete. Be patient. 15- after its complete the laptop starts up in Windows and you will find all advanced settings unblock in bios. thaat all [link] [comments] |
