I installed Ventura first and then upgraded to Sonoma with the regular system updater. Most things work, but overall feels slightly sluggish (understandable considering its age). One program I have not been able to get working successfully is Blender (blender.org) I tried all the more recent versions going back to 3.3, which technically worked, but had issues displaying menus correctly, was unstable and froze when trying to render. I suspect it's a GPU driver problem maybe? Anyone else run into this issue? Should I downgrade back to Ventura or Monterey? I probably should have tried running Blender before my upgrade to Sonoma, but I just didn't think about it. [link] [comments] |
