Repeated failures creating Sonoma installer (MBP11,3 Late-2013)

I recently discovered OCLP and decided to upgrade my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), 2.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 running Big Sur 11.7.10.

I verified that my computer is one of the Supported Models.

I have been following the instructions at Creating the installer.

Unfortunately, every time I have tried using OCLP 1.5 to create a Sonoma 14.6 (23G92) installer to a brand new, unused 32 MB SamData USB it fails as shown in the images; it writes a few MB then fails.

I have been unable to find any useful information about this issue, just people reporting it happens, no solutions. Granted, my Google-Fu may be lacking.

I also tried to open an issue on https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher, but it is only open to new issues from contributors to the project.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Same thing occurs with Ventura 13.6.9 (22G830)
