I successfully updated my MacBook Air 2014 to Monterey with OCLP. But after one day, regrets were pointing out:
1/There’s a constant bug with a notification that says « volume hash mismatch »
2/Big Sur was the last official update that I was able to do according to Apple and IMO there’s no vital features that you miss from Monterey on Big Sur
3/There’s a slight lag in Monterey, if Big Sur runs smoothly for you, Monterey lags don’t worth it
4/Battery drain: I don’t know if it’s the spotlight reconfiguring itself after the update but it’s annoying AF (my new battery was OK with Big Sur)
