I'm thinking about making my own Hackintosh, and thus I'll be upgrading my GPU from a RX 6400 to a RX 6600. Searching a bit on this subreddit, I managed to find some comments saying that the RX 6600 Sapphire works straight out of the box, whereas the XFX doesn't and might require BIOS flashing.
The issue is, the hardware shops where I live only sell the ASUS RX 6600 and the XFX RX 6600, I can't seem to find the Sapphire model.
With this, I have 2 questions:
Does the ASUS model RX 6600 work better than the XFX?
From what I managed to read on other forums, the XFX RX 6600 has a BIOS switch. Is it possible I can make 2 different bios configs if needed (one for Windows & the other one for my Hackintosh)?
