Not working great after reverting root patches and can't re-apply patches because of "mismatch" issue

So I used OpenCore to update my early 2013 Macbook pro laptop successfully to new version of MacOS a few months ago (not sure which version, but the last i checked I am at Sonoma 14.3 right now).
Recently things have been extremely slow and unusable (like even opening up the Finder, it would take forever for the window to 'animate' into the open position). I tried reapplying the Root Patches as it said a few things needed updating (intel and nvidia graphics cards most importantly), but it said there was a mismatch and the script stopped and didn't apply the patches.
I clicked something like 'Revert Root Patches' thinking I could revert and re-apply maybe, and I lost internet ability on the laptop.
I believe it said mismatch between "23F79" vs "23D56" in that console when i tried to re-apply patches.
I did see this video about a mismatch issue:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbMYXwUmmfw
But that didn't work for me. There was only an .xml file in that directory (no large assets folder within that directory) and deleting the 1 .xml file in there didn't work.

I wouldn't mind re-installing from scratch as I had nothing important on this early 2013 Macbook pro laptop.
But i don't have internet so i can't start from scratch to 'Create a macOS installer'.

I login and get into the computer now, but its very small resolution (as i assume the graphic drivers aren't installed) and no wifi internet (and 2013 macbook pro doesn't have a hardwired ethernet connection on the laptop so i can't use my ethernet cable from my router).

Any tips what steps i need to do?

Thanks for any tips!
