 | There are some Sonoma issues, specifically with apps crashing for no apparent reason, requiring a reboot to fix. Often the keyboard gets in a state that and cut&paste crashes the focused app. There are other problems, particularly the occasional diabolically slow WiFi connection Worst of all, when setting up my backup to a NAS, the Time Machine setup crashes - no more backups is a bad thing. The Time Machine process just sits there doing slow net access trying to mount the device, before crashing with a seemingly random error code. I still use this machine daily, but it'll need a new battery soon, so it may be retired ... it'll be sad to see it go [link] [comments] |
