Is it worth to Install Big Sur on an older mac?

So, I have a late 2013 iMac, with a 1TB SSD, 16 Gigs of DDR3 1600 MHz of Ram, an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M as my GPU and as my CPU an Intel i7-4770S (8) @ 3.10GHz. My mac supports Metal. My mac is currently running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (the latest version of the latest release of macOS officially supported by my iMac).

My question is: is it worth to upgrade this mac knowing that in some time (May be months or years) I'm gonna upgrade it? My goal is to reach macOS Big Sur at least, how well will it perform? Worse than now, similar or better? How will be temps (60-70 degrees celsius at idle, 80-85-90 celsius if under heavy workload)? Will all features work (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Airdrop, ecc...? To what version of macOS can I push my mac witout breaking functionaity or noticing performance downgrading and without any big of a difference in temps?

Thank you.
