I am confused

I have my old computer with a Found an I7 6700k which was on my Msi 710a pro, also got Sonoma installed with a Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X OC but:

Only has 7mb even though I spoofed and had to reinstall Mac several times, so about 15 times, because So either I'm just stupid or the R9 290 is too old but the strange thing is that on every GPU inspector market as Hawaii Pro or just Hawaii is listed as architecture

I am also confused why I read a few pages that the Opencore legacy patches should help but I thought it was only for old Apple devices

Also on every hackingtosh forum there is something different about the complexity of the configuration
