Can't restart to finish install macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 update

Hello everyone. I recently installed macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 onto my 1TB harddrive. I installed OpenCore legacy patcher to the drive itself as well, allowing me to boot the drive without an external OpenCore USB. I can boot up the OS normally, but I checked System Settings and it says that an update (14.6.1) is available. Yesterday, I downloaded the update and then it installed. It said it needs to restart to finish, so it closed the desktop and started the first part of the install, but after it restarted to launch back into the update install again, I got the prohibited symbol and the link that says "support.apple.com/mac/startup". I made sure I booted into OpenCore FIRST before running the "macOS Installer" selection that popped up, but it keeps showing the prohibited symbol. I have the latest version of OpenCore. Can anyone figure out what's happening?
