 | Before I begin: I'm really an opencore noob so please be patient 😁 I installed Monterey on a budget laptop (HP 17-cp0212ng | AMD Athlon Silver 3050U | AMD Radeon Graphics) and everything works like a charm. The only problem is the blank screen after the Apple logo. It's not happening all the time. (I'm not 100% sure but I think that one of the coolers is running pretty high/fast when this issue happens). I can sometimes boot several times without any problems and sometimes have to restart the laptop several times to boot into the OS. I used a "dedicated" already created EFI I found on GitHub: https://github.com/SilasPuma/athlon-silver-efi I followed many tutorials and forums but couldn't resolve my issue. Than I found this one on GitHub: https://github.com/mikigal/ryzen-hackintosh Tried this xxx times and it's always booting without any problems. Can anyone help me to solve my booting to blank screen issue? Or maybe make a one working EFI from the 2 links above ? [link] [comments] |
