Does anyone really have the faintest factual idea what this error actually means?
I've created many Clover and now Open Core EFIs and have never run into this.
I've been trying to create an EFI for an Alder Lake i5 MSIMAG B760 Tomahawk Wifi DDR4 board and this is the farthest I can get.. I've used both an AMD 580 and a Radeon 6600 GPU with boot arguments (its not a black screen).I've never had problems with MSI boards before but I've never tried to make a UEFI for this chipset.
I've read everything Google finds on the subject but nothing works. Most posts about the problem get no reply. Motherboard settings appear correct, but in my experience with several generations of Intel chipsets errant mobo settings immediately halt the boot.
I've remade the USB map kext multiple times in Windows. I've made them before doing the same thing and they worked, but I admit that could be the problem.
I have tried just about every anecdotal variation mentioned, waited to see if the boot got past there, but its a dead stop. I've used every port on the motherboard for the boot USB keys, makes no difference. I've tried generating differnt identifier numbers, (serial numbers et al) but that makes no difference. I've pared down the ssdt and kexts to the bare minimum, makes no difference.
Clearly I am missing something. Anyone really know what that could be?
