 | I decided to upgrade my GPU on Mac Pro 5,1 to Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580, 8GB. I found on OCLP webpage that this GPU is fully compatible. But the problem is, that this GPU I too thick and there is no space on position 1 PCIe. I had to move it a bit higher. Now my setup is: position 1 - USB 3.0 card, position 2 - GPU, position 3 - not accessible, position 4 - NVMe ssd. I wonder how will be the temp of all components… Does anyone have the same GPU as I do? If yes, how do use it in your Mac Pro 5.1? [link] [comments] |
