When I try to connect to a hotspot coming from an iPhone it sometimes doesn’t even work, only shows up in the top where the quick Wi-Fi settings is, not in the system settings app, and when it eventually connects it just displays “!” Next to the Wi-Fi and that’s it, not internet access goes through. The iPhone is connected to a 4G network running fine. Connection with Bluetooth also doesn’t work, it will pair but not connect, it just says incompatible device. I have a Bluetooth mouse so I can confirm Bluetooth is working fine. Connection through cable is working fine, although have some trouble sometimes getting it to recognise that it’s a usb hotspot but that happens on every computer I have with windows. Specs: Network card: Intel dual band AC 8265 Intel core i5 8350U 16gb 2400mhz UHD 620 Laptop: Dell Latitude 7490 Phone that I tried it with: iPhone XS Any tips? My KEXTS folder is on the last photo. Also airdrop doesn’t work but that’s not a dealbreaker and I assume it’s not compatible with this network card. [link] [comments] |
