Hello,
I've been trying to install macOS Ventura,
I successfully went into installation screen and everything was goind well, until I wanted to partition my drive and no matter what I did, Disk utility did not recognize my SSD Sata drive ( I've double-checked with diskutil list
in the Terminal). AHCI is enabled in the BIOS.
Trying to fix this problem I've used following kexts:
-
SATA-Unsupported.kext
-
CtlnaACHIport.kext
My specs are:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 3550H with Vega 8 iGPU
- Laptop model: ASUS TUF GAMING FX505DT-BQ143
- RAM: 16 GB
- dGPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1650
- Network card: Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
- WIFI card: Realtek RTL8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E Network AdapterPCI
Also, if that helps:
My SSD drive is:
Crucial MX500 2.5 1 TB (CT1000MX500SSD1)Crucial MX500 2.5 1 TB (CT1000MX500SSD1)
Also, I have a Micron\_2200V\_MTFDHBA512TCK 512 GB NVMe drive installed, but it is disabled using boot-args,
since it causes Kernel panics if enabled (NVMe Fix Kext did not solve the issue, so I used boot arguments to fix the problem. )
