I have an HP pavilion 595-0084p desktop that I got cheap from eBay. Currently being used as a proxmox server but looking at it and wondering if a mac machine would be better. The bios is kind of bare and some features for proxmox are non existent. That being said how would this HP proprietary madness go for a OC Hack?
Specs:: i7-8700 - 16GB (2 slots 8GBx2) - Radeon Pro WX 3200 GPU 4GB - Asgard 512GB nvme m.2 - 2TB WD SSD drive - No wifi or Bluetooth took the card out - HP Lincs motherboard
Wondering if the hassle would be worth it for music production. An M2 16GB mac mini is $1700. This box cost me $200 shipped.
Anyone have luck with HP or is it a nightmare? This model successful? Let a fellow tinkerer know!
