open core legacy not working

i have been using my macbook air 2011, and i recently thought of updating it to sonoma. so i followed a vid tutorial saying i need at least 15 gigs on a flash drive. but it don’t wanna get past the part where you choose the disk. then this error note pops up. what do i do?
