No touchpad or keyboard - I really should have read the known issues before upgrading

Yesterday I upgraded my 2009 Macbook Pro to Sonoma. And as anyone who had read the known issues FAQ would know, the touchpad and keyboard stopped working. And I was unable to get any combination of hubs mice or keyboards to work.

Started again with Monterey from scratch. Mumble Mumble, stupid old person Mumble
