MBP 9,1. What gives?

After 100% success with my MacBook 9,1 Retina, I dove into my MBP 9,1. Easy, right?

With the same installation that I used to patch my MB 9,1, I have created a ICLP 1.5.0 boot USB customized for MBP 9,1.

The install of Ventura gets to 12% remaining and the MBP reboots.

Any ideas?
