Hey everyone,
I’m having a major issue with my MacBook Pro 2017 after an unexpected update. I was running macOS Sonoma using OCLP, and even though I had auto-updates turned off, somehow they turned on and my laptop decided to update.
Since the update, my keyboard and trackpad have randomly stopped working. I can’t tell if this is a software issue or something else. The power button and keyboard backlight still work when I’m running macOS, but the keyboard and trackpad don’t respond at all.
Strangely, they also don’t work in recovery mode, which forces me to use an external keyboard and mouse. Right now, I’m clean installing Mojave in recovery mode after wiping my hard drive, but the keyboard and trackpad are still not working at this point, even in recovery mode.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas on what might be happening? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
