Is it worth it?

Hey, wanting some advice. I’ve got an iMac, 27 inch 2012. It’s got a corrupted Fusion Drive so I was thinking of purchasing a new SSD, plus the tools etc, for around $150usd.

I was hoping to patch it with OCLP, but after reading posts here I’m worried it could be a bit hit or miss. Is it worth doing? Is the patch stable enough to bother purchasing a new SSD?

I’ll primarily be using the Mac as a media server.
