The guide says the latest supported version is 11 and I've installed it but it seems like many apps have lost support for it and require 12 or later to run.
My CPU is i3-3110m with an Intel HD Graphics 4000. Right now I'm on the MacBookPro11,1 SMBIOS and it works fine with Big Sur except for iMessage and FaceTime.
