Hey! I have an iMac 2013 27” running Sonoma with the Nvidia dGPU (legacy Metal) and an Intel iGPU.
When I launch the iOS 17 simulator, most of the time it just shows black screen or shows broken flickering image, however, when pressing CMD + L to lock the virtual device, you can hear the sound, so it’s definitely the graphics issue. Previously I was running Monterey which had support for iOS 14 Simulator, which is also the latest simulator you can use on Catalina (the latest natively supported OS) and it worked perfectly.
I guess Apple decided to drop the Nvidia GPU support for iOS 15 simulator and higher. Is there a way to force the system to run on Intel Iris? Because in the Stats app I see that only the Nvidia is active.
