I recently purchased an iMac G3 second-hand (yes the one with the colored shell :)) and I was planning on replacing the old hard drive with a new SSD. I've got that part covered as far as adapters and so on.
What I'm wondering, is can I install MacOS Sonoma (or even BigSur) onto the new SSD using OpenCore Legacy Patcher and have it function as the hard drive while installed into the iMac G3?
