Hi All, I spent a long day tinkering with framebuffer to have as little as possible patching/ injecting/ faking (are those the right terminology?) and as much as possible native support. In the end, the following is what works for my rig (i7-8700T, B360 chipset, UHD 630, 1xDP + 1xHDMI ports (3rd DP/ HDMI port possible via add-on card): On Intel Ark and on paper, also mentioned in WEG manual, i7-8700T's device-id is 0x3E92, I tried all 3 possible value of 0x3E92 (matching pair, platform and device IDs) none worked, they all can only get me as far as Apple logo before going black screen. Can anyone please educate me why? And also, by using 9B3E as in the screenshot do I successfully use native support or there're some patching/ faking done? Thank you. [link] [comments] |
