FeatureUnlock not sticking after reboot (Mac Mini late 2014)

Hi all, I have a Mac Mini late 2014 model with OCLP installed and running on Sonoma. In general, the mac works perfectly, however with the "FeatureUnlock" feature enabled, using the arrow keys or keyboard shortcuts immediately crashes the open application, no matter what it is. I read online that FeatureUnlock can cause this, so I disable FeatureUnlock, reinstall the root patches and reboot, and the Mac will work absolutely perfectly. However, after another reboot, FeatureUnlock becomes enabled again, and all I can do to fix it is to disable it and reinstall the root patches again.
Does anybody know how to ensure the FeatureUnlock feature remains disabled after a reboot?
