Hi, I hope this is the right place to seek help with an issue I'm experiencing (if not, please direct me). I have a SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD that I've used with my Mac Mini without problems for over eight months. However, today it didn't appear in the sidebar of my Finder window. When I checked Disk Utility, it was there but greyed out. I tried clicking "Mount," but nothing happened.
I followed a few YouTube tutorials that suggested using the Terminal, but I haven't had any success. When I tried a command, I received the message, "A GUID Partition Table (GPT) partitioning scheme is required."
I don't know what this means, and I'm not very familiar with these technical aspects. I would greatly appreciate any help!
