Hello. I know I have seen many posts about people running Sonoma on machines that are older than that, but according to a few different sources it's says something along the lines of "2018 or newer" can run Sonoma..?
I'm in need of a Mac to run Xcode for my job, and the earliest version is 14 that it can run on. So Sonoma is a must.
My company bought me an older macbook, in hopes it would work, turns out it doesn't.
I've tried to install sonoma once before, maybe I missed some steps but it basically just brought my macbook. I got all the way to the home screen and there was just no background, and when you look at version it was blank and just said "version 14" or whatever.
So, idk.
CAN I actually run Sonoma on my Mid2015 Macbook Pro? I assume I just need to follow the directions properly to get it to work, right?
