Went from Big Sur to Ventura. Performance hit?

Successfully installed Ventura on a pretty outdated setup:

Gigabyte Z170N-WIFI

i5 6600k

16G ram

GTX 760 2G ram (Kepler with OCLP)

Everything seems to be working. I was using Big Sur, which was very stable. Is it me or does Ventura seem a bit sluggish compared to Big Sur?

Are there any optimizations I can do or recommend?
