I'm trying to update my 2012 Mac Mini (MacMini 6,1) to the latest macOS. It's currently running macOS 10.8, but OpenCore needs at least macOS 10.10 to work. I created an installer USB on my MacBook, which has already been successfully updated using OpenCore.
However, when I access the boot picker on my Mac Mini, the EFI option doesn't appear. I only see "Install macOS Sonoma." When I select "Install macOS Sonoma," I get the prohibited symbol (🚫) screen.
I've searched for solutions but haven't found anything helpful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
