i am currently very unsuccessfully trying to Get graphics acceleration working on my laptop running opencore. I have an issue where my internal LVDS display has no signal. i have read about changing the framebuffer patches so i tried multiple platform id's and device-id's. i'm able to connect from my current macbook in screen sharing to see that everything works except for my internal display and HDMI port. i cant seem to find any answers online in regards to whiskey lake. i have the info provided in the dortania guide but nothing seems to work. i can either run in vesa mode but as soon as i add my device-id (A53E0000) the internal screen goes black after verbose. i'm also using platform-id (00009B3E) does anyone have any tips or ideas as to whats going on? i've tried patching with hackintool and i've seen in IOReg that my framebuffers are active and running.
