Installing Sonoma twice on same computer (separate drives) - issues?

Hi, I want to have a sandbox version of Sonoma so that I can test configs, etc, without modifying my working setup. If I run the USB installer and choose some other NVMe, will that confuse the existing Sonoma in any way? Or would be fine if I just reset NVRAM upon each boot?

Motherboard is Asus Z790 Proart.
