Hi, i have been running a hackintosh mainly for music production and recording purposes, its a dell optiplex 3070 micro, yes the mac mini form factor one, with an i3 9100T that i will upgrade to an i7, anyway i first ran monterey on it,switched to ventura, and everything was fine, then k switched to sonoma, it runs great, performance is how it should be, but after upgrading to sonoma, one of the multiple DAW’s i work on i.e. ableton wont take any audio inputs, it would recognise the audio interface and everything but would detect any signal from the 2 inputs on my interface, to check i tried other daws to record they work just fine, but ableton doesnt, moreover to check any compatibility issues, i installed sonoma on another ssd i had lying around, and ableton works as intended on it, something probably went wrong with my installation iguess, i reinstalled using mac os recovery, but no luck
Can i re-install from a new bootable usb without loosing any of the softwares i have installed on my hackintosh up until now? My workflow would take a serious hit if i had to stop, re do the installation and reinstall all my plugins and softwares from scratch as it is a lot of them
