Anyone using a real MacBook as keyboard/trackpad combo for a desktop hackintosh?

I saw a cheapish MBA 2014 locally with a broken screen.

I am a huge fan of MBA keyboard/trackpad combo (I also daily drive that exact MBA for almost 10 years) and I really want to use it as a keyboard for my desktop Hackintosh (which is much more powerful; otherwise i would just hook the monitor to the headless MBA).

My idea was to use OCLP to patch the old MBA to Ventura and make Universal Control work on the Hackintosh (still not sure whether I should get USB BT/WiFi dongles or a Fenvi) and then connect them.

Anyone rocking a similar setup? Any tips? Am I missing a glaring issue?
