Hi all, so recently I have revived my HP 15s-fq Hackintosh Laptop, (I7-1065G7, 8GB DDR4, 1TB NVME SSD Intel Iris Plus Graphics) with a new SSD and EFI folder. I have it working a lot better, however something i still have not managed to get working is Wi-Fi and bluetooth. I know the original Realtek card that was in the laptop is not compatible, however I have tried both an Intel Dual Band AC 7265 and an Intel Dual Band AC7260. Neither of which have worked for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on Monterey or Ventura. I have tried with itlwm.kext and AirportItlwm.kext, both with and without Heliport, however, no Wi-Fi networks show up no matter what, Wi-Fi appears and it on, but nothing. So my question is, can I get these working, and if so how easy would it be. If the answer is no, it won't work, then would a Broadcom BCM94360NG run with ventura? Ive seen many things saying yes its supported and many saying its not. So if anyone has any clarity on it, that knowledge would be appreciated. Note: I would rather not but it would be possible for me to go back to monterey if that would make things start working better. Also, to anyone that is going to say "research it yourself", or "read the guide" I have. I have spent the last few days trying to work this out myself because this seems to be most peoples reply to everything, but I have made no progress so I'm hoping someone will be willing to help. Sorry if this might be a dumb question, but would it be possible to run both OSs on my one 2TB SSD? I have no experience with hackintoshing, and have no idea how to partition, etc. I just want Windows and Mac Sonoma on 1 SSD, without my current data on Windows 11 wiped. What would I need to do for this to happen?

I got an Issue with the IGPU in my laptop, I do not seem go get graphics acceleration, only shows 7MB.

I didn't realize that 2017 imac i5 quad core has no hyperthreading...so only "4 cpus." Has anyone tried? Does Sonoma run very zippy on it?

I have a Pentium G3220 along with several GPUs I can use, however I'm having an issue with GPU output, which is needed for a Pentium Hackintosh. GPUs all spin up, but no display output is shown, even in Ubuntu. Any ideas?

I always liked macos and so I built a hackintosh PC. Here are some differences that I found using a hackintosh vs a intel and m chip macbook.

I have a 6700 AMD, 32gb ram storage and 2 tb storage PC:

Android official transfer App doesn't recognize my phone vs native macos does

Even if you have over spec pc things just run more smoother on native macos. Example: Zoom scrolling google maps in and and out is still choppy on my hackintosh

I get random glitches like when I was on a zoom interview, my hackintosh froze on me...

Some app functions just act funny and don't work as intended vs native macos I haven't had any issues

What are somethings you guys noticed running a hackintosh vs using a regular mac or macbook especially the new m chip?

I installed 14.5 on my 2017 iMac and it works pretty well other than an issue I had been having with WiFi dropping in and out (but that was happening before I installed 14.5). But when I boot up I get the boot selector screen where it only shows the Mac HD. If I don’t press anything it will bypass after a few seconds. Any way to disable this? Did I miss something with OCLP? Thank you in advance

I have a smart TV, but it's not always as smart as I'd like. I stream videos from various "sources" best accessed through a web browser but consistently have issues using the smart TV built-in browser. I can also use full browsers and extensions to block ads on things like YouTube and elsewhere more easily on a desktop platform (macOS) than a TV platform (even Google/Android TV).

I'm trying to find a low cost AND low power usage Mac to repurpose as a TV basically to connect via HDMI and plug into Ethernet and maybe use a Bluetooth remote with a QWERTY keyboard on it. I know the 2014 Mac minis have a 6W idle power draw (which is even below the more expensive M1 Mac mini), but I'm not sure how much time the 2014 model actually spends at that lower wattage usage.

I'm curious if there are cheap, low-wattage PC builds/desktop units that are ideal for a Hackintosh that I could use for something like this? Minimal power usage while being able to play videos on my TV is my top priority.

And I saw the amd section, but Athlon wasn’t included… Can I still use it ? If not, can someone send one to me ? (If you have it) I know that i should use dortania's guide, but there is to much things to do, and I already tried to, it is too long, and if there is one already made, it's better haha ! And also because the ACPI section is too hard :(

Oh, and just behind the amd link, it says that I need to put numbers depending of my cores count, but only have 2, and the website only says for 4 and above… What do I need to put ?

I am trying to build Sequoia beta 2 on my Ivy Bridge (i5 3470) desktop but at the final boot I am getting the panic error with '/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib' (no such file). I have made the required changes suggested in the community for adding boot arguments revpatch=sbvmm and also changing the SMBIOS to iMac19,1. am I missing something? I am using all latest kext and opencore 1.0.0.

Hello everyone, I’ve been trying to install at least Big Sur on an iMac I received recently for fun, but every time I click on the EFI boot, it starts to load the “install macOS Big Sur option” with the pressed number at the bottom, before rebooting back into high sierra. There’s a separate issue where the iMac just boots slow in general despite having having an SSD and 12 gbs of ram. I doubt the i3 it has would be giving this much of a headache either. I’ve tried everything such as resetting nvram/pram, reinstalling macOS and rebuilding and installing open core as well, I tried the same with Sonoma, Monterey and more, but nothing has happened Thanks for any help

I’ve tried a few different things Pram reset, SMC resets, reinstall OS but still no love for my upgraded Bluetooth 4.2 card Wi-Fi always works in. The odd thing is my Bluetooth keyboard works, but I can’t turn Bluetooth on. It turns on and then 10 seconds later, it turns off And my magic mouse also sort of works but no scrolling or gestures just basic mouse functionality. Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi worked with Monterey and Martin Lowe’s but it just refuses to work in Sonomas and they both work in Mojave but it just refuses to work in Sonoma. Thoughts?

Created USB 3.0 flash. Gets to point where it would install and says it ran into a problem rerun the app.

Also created USB 2.0 flash. It installs Ventura, but then during config at install it says Gretna Public Schools does remote administration and it wants to log into Microsoft. What's going on?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Since this has stomped on the existing installation, can the OCLP app be installed on an M1 mini and be used to create a new USB installer?
